To receive income, you must select the terms and open a deposit of 100,000, 10,000, or 1,000 BGP. Birlandia’s Gold Pound digital tokens are issued in the equivalent of physical gold, in the vaults of the state Royal Gold Fund. Every Birland resident can exchange their BGP digital tokens for 24-karat gold bars, receiving 1 gram of gold for every 100 BGP. Therefore, BGPs have 100% liquidity, and the inflation of Birlandia’s digital currency is always zero. The initial issue of BGPs is approved by the Government of Birlandia at 300,000,000, which corresponds to the presence of 3,000 kg of gold bars in the Royal Gold Fund. Investors who open a deposit of 100,000 BGP or more for the initial BGP issuance receive monthly income payments of 0.7% of the deposit amount, equivalent to 8.5% per annum in gold. 360 days after opening the deposit, the investor will receive 108.4% of the deposit amount in their account balance at the Birlandia State Digital Bank and will be able to exchange their BGP for gold bars if desired. For smaller deposit amounts, the income will be lower, but still a decent and reliable level.
